Comfy, casual sneakers are a staple for most people. I may be the exception to that general notion. I haven’t owned a pair of sneakers that weren’t intended for the gym since I was probably in middle school. I love the look of a clean white sneaker, but I’m always afraid of getting them dirty! I finally decided that for running weekend errands and bopping around town, I could really use a pair of casual sneaks. These Superga sneaks were my top choice – because they are crisp-looking, but also super comfy.
When I’m not in the mood for heels, or booties, and its still too chilly for flats, I figured these would be perfect!

Unfortunately, my fear of getting these dirty was realized…upon my first trip to the grocery store in these new puppies (I posted an Instagram here…follow me @thelilacpress!), I had the side of my heel rolled over by a shopping cart! Ugh – my worst nightmare! A little dramatic – I know – but luckily, I was able to clean most of the residue off, and the damage wasn’t all that bad. That being said, maybe a color other than white would be a good option for my next pair – like this pretty beige macramé pair!

Great Spring look. I love the white sneaker look, sadly I don’t have any Superga or Adidas, the only white sneakers I have are my sparkling white Keds 🙁
