What’s better on a hot summer evening than a cocktail after work with friends? I’m guilty of almost always ordering just a glass of champagne, prosecco, cava, etc. I love bubbly because it is light and dry, without too many calories. It’s actually kind of funny that I’m known for it now – so much so that when I went to a company happy hour recently, the bartender immediately made a point to let me know he was all out of prosecco but that he did have some cava ready for me.
As a refreshing alternative to my favorite bubbly, I’m also a fan of a classic gin and tonic – mostly because of the tart twist of lime.
This Tangueray Rangpur is a different, but quite smooth and refreshing version of traditional gin. A rangpur is apparently a blend of a mandarin orange and a lemon, but it adds an extra citrusy zest that blends perfectly.
A gin and tonic just isn’t right without Fever Tree. It is the best around, and honestly, that unique tang of the tonic water truly makes the cocktail.
I like to add a couple of lime wedges to each one, and voila! A little bit fruity, but slightly bitter, these G+T’s are so easy to whip up if entertaining guests at the last minute. Just be sure to keep the ingredients on hand.
Cheers!

I love a good Gin and Tonic on a hot day too! Fever Tree is my favourite mixer, but I’ve not yet tried Tanqueray Rangpur. Will keep a look out for a bottle.
Thanks for the Bloglovin follow 🙂
