Feminine Florals

Goodnight Macaroon is a new-to-me brand that is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorites. When I saw this dress online, I knew it was a much needed addition to my wardrobe because the navy and very pale pink floral pattern is just so me. The cinched elastic waist is particularly flattering, and I felt great in it from the moment I put it on. The best part about this dress is that it is so comfortable. It’s 100% cotton so it is light and airy, but the material is high quality and a little thicker, making it feel like you’re wearing more than just a basic cotton dress.

This tote became a part of my life late last year, and it has been my single most-used bag since. The snaps on either side allow the bag to expand or collapse based on how much stuff is inside. If you’re anything like me, you’re carrying around way too much (much needed, that is!) stuff on a day-to-day basis, and this is the perfect carry-all. (You just never know when you’ll need an extra sweater, or granola bar, or that tube of lotion, etc.)

I’ve been a fan of Loren Hope for awhile now, and I recently purchased these earrings and this bracelet to wear to a wedding. I went with the ‘shell’ color because I liked the softer, subtler look for the wedding over one of the more vibrant colors, which actually turned out to be a great choice because I’ve been wearing these as everyday pieces as well. I’m wearing Bikini So Teeny from Essie on my nails, which is very different from the light pinks and corals I usually stick with, but I have to say that I’ve gotten so many compliments on this color. I’ve personally liked it so much that I actually re-did my manicure using this same color twice in a row. I also feel like it really pops against the navy and pink dress.

These shoes…I don’t wear them nearly enough. I’ve had really great luck with Sam Edelman shoes in the past, and these are no exception. The heel is not too high, and they are quite comfortable. The nude leather means these can be worn on almost any occasion to dress up any look. Although I’m usually weary of any ankle straps because I feel like they are generally unflattering and cut off the leg instead of elongating it, but for some reason these just work for me!

Since I’m now such a major fan of Goodnight Macaroon, I’d love to know what everyone else thinks of the brand!
