Early Morning Walks on the Beach

There’s almost nothing I love more than the early morning – especially at the beach! It is so calm and peaceful, and the early morning light just can’t be beat. Plus, in a warm weather location, the early mornings provide perfect temperature before the sun gets to be too hot. I’ve have always loved mornings. Sometimes they are more rushed than others. Lately, I have a bad habit of staying up too late (and falling asleep with my laptop in my lap and my lights on), which means I don’t feel so great or well rested in the morning. One of the best parts of going on vacation is that I am forced to get into a much better sleep schedule. I actually go to bed properly – without any laptops or cellphones in hand. That leads to feeling refreshing and clear headed in the mornings! My favorite part of each day while in St. Thomas was my morning walk on the beach and fresh breakfast.

Cold Shoulder

It’s pretty cold in New England right now, and I don’t dare wear any sort of cold should top right now. It’s just too chilly! Right now, it’s lots and lots of layers for me still! But, while visiting a warm weather climate, it is so much easier to try out fun new trends. How cute is this striped blouse? It is so light and airy, and I love the way the layers would flow in the warm breeze. It just made the whole look feel dreamy.
