Yesterday I mentioned just how much I love gold and glitter for celebrating the holiday season. Well, I also find balloons and a little bubbly most appropriate for this time of year. While preparing for Halloween festivities last weekend, I picked up a few cheerful balloons. Instead of sticking with the spooky theme of Halloween, I decided to brighten it up a bit with gold and white. Additionally, I don’t feel like it’s a real holiday without breaking out the bubbly (for which I will likely be needing these glasses).

If you are planning on hosting an event in the coming months, whether that be a friendsgiving, Thanksgiving or a holiday party, be sure to add a little sparkle to your home. Balloons are a great way to make the party a little more fun, especially since they are easy to get and don’t cost much! If you are planning on attending an event at a friend’s home this season, champagne is a great hostess gift. It can either be opened then and there for guests to enjoy, or you may suggest the hostess keep it for herself to enjoy on a separate special occasion.

What are some of your favorite ideas for adding an extra festive touch to your party? I’d love to know!

drapey sequined shirt (sold out, but similar here and similar dress here) // statement earrings // wool skirt // tights // booties

These photos are too cute! Gold and glitter – I’m in. I’m just slightly obsessed with your top, btw…
