Wintry Earth Tones
I think you all know by now that I’m a huge fan of color, and I love adding bright pieces to my wardrobe. That being said, for some reason, I have been majorly gravitating toward only black and grays and earth tones. Blame it on the cold weather, I suppose, except for the fact that it really hasn’t been all that cold! We’ve been lucky with a mild winter so far, but that definitely doesn’t mean that I can’t ride out the rest of the season in cozy sweaters in tones that seem to match the bleak mood of this post holiday winter slump. This sweater is one of the coziest and is actually quite light weight – making it perfect for those not-so-chilly days we’ve been having lately (not that I’m complaining).
Positive Vibes + Warmer Weather
On a more positive note, I haven’t had to wear my parka every day. And, I was able to walk around town recently in just this sweater (with a layer underneath and a cute beanie, of course). It’s so weird to be able to do that in January, but it is nice to enjoy the outdoor air without having to completely bundle from head to toe! In fact, I was even outside in this sleeveless outfit last night – because it was 55 degrees! Can you believe it?!
