As the cold, snowy days continue here in Boston, it’s easy to feel sorry for ourselves while we complain about how torturous our commute was, how high our heating bills are getting, or just how generally tired we are of this weather. What it really boils down to is that we are all just trying to survive. But surviving isn’t living. Living is thriving and enjoying the things we do have. I am oh so guilty of hating on winter, but I am in charge of my own feelings, and I am going to choose to live joyfully. We should all show some gratitude, and only then will we see the real beauty that winter has to offer. At least until Spring finally rolls around.
