Fresh for 30 Days
I might call myself a wine lover (I do love tasting all the different wines at a vineyard); however, I don’t necessarily enjoy drinking a lot of wine. I like to have a few sips or a glass every now and then – but definitely not every night! My boyfriend and I might open a bottle of wine so we can each have a glass on date night. The problem is that we don’t want to finish the bottle. So, we’ll save it for a later date, and ultimately end up letting it go bad and then pouring it out. Or, we might just finish the bottle (so we don’t waste it, of course!)…and then wish we hadn’t!
Kuvée is the answer to my problems! Every bottle of wine that you open will stay just as fresh as the day you opened it for 30 days! Isn’t that crazy?! You have to load each wine into a special Kuvée bottle, one at a time, which allows you to pour without ever letting oxygen touch the wine. Personally, with Kuvée, I never feel pressured to drink more than I want and never have to worry about being wasteful.
Red Wine or White Wine?
Fortunately, you don’t have to choose! I personally love a bold red Cabernet Sauvignon – especially in the wintertime. That being said, sometimes I just want a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. Now, I can have both! Since each bottle stays fresh for 30 days after opening, you can open one of each and sample both! Plus, if you want red, but your friend wants white, you can each have whatever you desire. The Kuvée system is great for a holiday party or girls’ night in because you can pick up a few different bottles, and everyone can have what they like. When I tested out Kuvée, I started with 4 bottles and tried a taste of each right away. It was so much fun to do a little wine tasting at home to decide which ones I liked best. I knew that we’d drink the bottles eventually over the course of 30 days, so I didn’t feel bad at all about opening them up right away!
Start with White
Thanks to the special bottle that doesn’t let any oxygen touch the wine, you can load it in to your Kuvée like I’ve demonstrated below. One of the coolest parts about Kuvée is just how connected it is! Immediately it will know which bottle you’ve loaded in and will give you all sorts of info about the grape varietals, the winemaker, the vineyard, tasting notes and pairing ideas. Plus, the technology allows you to rate your favorites and store them in your “cellar” so you can keep track of which bottles you have open and how much you have left of each!
Switch Over to Red
When you are ready to switch out the bottle, just push the button to release the current bottle and load in a new one! If you are doing a tasting of multiple wines, start with the whites and then switch to the red! Ask your guests to give you their feedback on the wine and the tasting notes they are each experiencing. Then, you can all compare notes to the true tasting notes for each wine. It is such a fun (and super engaging) group activity.

Then, they can order new wines to try right through the bottle’s software system.
^^ One of the coolest things, I think, is that the system keeps track of when you opened each bottle and how much you have left. Never wonder how long ago it really was when you opened that bottle.
