Heading into Finals Week!

This week is flying by! I’m struggling this week because I so badly want to dress for warm weather (and have), but we’re not quite there yet. This is the time of year that we all wish a light jacket is all we needed, but realistically it just isn’t true yet – at least here in New England. It has been so windy here in the city, and as you can probably tell from the photos, is impossible to keep my hair in place when walking outside. I’ve just been rocking the slightly (read: very) messy look lately, as a result.

On top of some major spring fever, I have been wrapping up my second semester of grad school. I’m gearing up for final projects, presentations, and exams these next two weeks, so I’m just holding my breath and looking forward to coming out the other side – alive, hopefully. Okay, that may be a bit dramatic, but there is just so much to be done between now and the end of April.

So, I have officially ditched the snow boots. I may regret doing this later if Mother Nature decides to bless us with some more of that icy white fluffy stuff, but for now, these SAS booties are the best transition shoe.

They work perfectly with my simple cotton dress and denim jacket, but I’ve been wearing them with jeans too!
