Last week’s edition of “Weekly Under $100” seemed to be a big hit! A lot of you loved the lightweight fleecy top with the built-in mock tuck. It really is foolproof! This week I wanted to share a favorite find that hasn’t been showcased nearly enough – even though I wear it all the time during the week.
This open cardigan is a cozy addition to any outfit. The neutral and black tones pair well with almost anything. On those freezing New England days, I like to wear it with a simple black turtleneck. On more temperate days, I’ll pair it with a fun tank – like I did here. Maybe I’m just a sweater fiend, actually, some might call me a hoarder, but I’m a true sucker for anything cozy. Truth be told, my chunky sweater collection far outsizes they drawer and closet space I have herein my apartment, so I have a big stack of chunky knits in one corner of my room. It’s kind of a mess. But shhh don’t tell anyone.
Anyway, the best part of this sweater is that it’s been marked down from $85 to $42.50!!!
Now that I’ve just reflected on my hoarding problem and added “closet purge” to my to-do list for the month, I want to talk about these jeans.
You can’t really tell, but I’m also wearing these jeans in the photo. I wore them here and here as well, but they have quickly become a go-to piece for me. If you have been following along with me for a while, you might remember that I have a weird relationship with denim. It’s really a type of love-hate relationship. I used to have trouble finding ANY jeans that fit me. They were always too big in the waist or too tight in the thighs. It wasn’t until I found the most comfortable pair of Madewell jeans, that my opinion of denim changed forever. So now, I’m definitely a fan of high waisted jeans, and I love the embroidered detail on this A+F pair!
What’s in your shopping cart lately? Any items worth the splurge?
