What to Wear When You Are The Party Planner

This time of year is the most magical, in my opinion, especially thanks to all of the festive holiday parties coming up! I love the Christmas season because everyone is in a cheerful, celebratory and giving spirit. With lots of holiday events coming up, there is always the question of what to wear! And that looming question mark is often amplified when you are the party planner! Since there are often lots of last minute little things to take care of around the house (or venue), you’ll surely want to be comfortable so you can stay nimble. That being said, it is important to make sure you feel feminine and beautiful in what you are wearing – since you are the host after all!

I’ve found this burgundy and navy lace dress to be the perfect combination of both of those elements. Plus, the dress itself has lots of character, which makes for minimal accessorizing!

Burgundy & Navy Lace

Both navy and burgundy are beautiful colors for the holiday season, in part because they are a bit unexpected this time of year. I’ve actually loved to wear navy to holiday parties for a few years now since it breaks away from classic black, makes a statement, but is not too over-the-top. Plus, you can never go wrong with a deep burgundy wine color – one of my favorites of all time!
