After this past year, who isn’t ready for the best summer ever! Finally. the warm weather is here, and I am beyond ready to stock my closet with some new summer dresses. Whatever you might have on the calendar this season, I always think the best summer dresses are those that transition effortlessly from day to night. I’ve picked a few of my favorite dresses this season at all different price points and styled them for both day and night!
First up, each piece in this edit is under $300! I love a good floral midi dress because it can be dressed up or dressed down. Style it with slides and a hat for a daytime outdoor lunch and swap the flats for a little heel and a chic crossbody for a dinner date. If it’s a chilly night, opt for a cool leather topper. I’ll always love the contrast of a feminine floral with an edgy leather.
For Day:
dress | hat | bag | shoes | sunglasses
For Night
dress | jacket | earrings | bag | shoes
Next up, each piece in this edit is under $200. A flirty floral mini is probably one of the most versatile dresses out there. Wear it with easy neutral sneakers and a backpack for an effortless daytime ensemble (not to mention practical)! Then, dress it up with square-toed heeled sandals and statement earrings for the evening.
For Day:
dress | necklace | bag | shoes | headband
For Night:
dress | bag | earrings | shoes
In this next edit, each piece is under $100. This orange printed mini is a sunny summer must! Try pairing it with a denim jacket and high-top sneakers for a cool & casual daytime vibe. Swap the sneaks for a little lift and a cool leather for a night out.
For Day:
dress | jacket | bag | sunglasses | shoes
For Night:
dress | bag | jacket | shoes | earrings
Finally, this edit might actually be my favorite! Every single piece is under $50!!! Some even well under. This dress is an Amazon Essential I bought on a whim, and it is so light and soft – ideal for the summer heat. Throw a lightweight shacket over it and slip on woven sandals for a day out an about. Don’t forget an oversized tote! For nighttime, switch the leather tote for a mini shoulder bag, a navy leather topper (if needed) and a baby blue heel.
For Day:
dress | jacket | bag | earrings | necklace | shoes | sunglasses
For Night:
dress | jacket | shoes | earrings | bag
