Bright colors, florals and pastels are usually my thing – especially now that spring is here! That being said, sometimes, I just want to keep it simple and stick to the basics. As much as I’m ready to jump fully into spring, the weather isn’t quite allowing us to do so just yet. As they say, “April showers bring May flowers,” and right now we appear to be in the thick of those “April showers.” On those raw, rainy days I just want to take a cue from the weather and save the color for sunnier days ahead.
It’s amazing just how much our moods can be affected by the weather. Sometimes it’s best not to overcomplicate things. Black and white dresses can be paired with any color or any neutral you happen to have on hand. Black and white patterned dresses are simple and chic and are a great way to feel polished without having to think too much about it.
