Set, Match: Chic and Easy Matching Sets

Chic and Easy Knit Matching Sets

I’ve recently become obsessed with matching sets. Not only are they super chic, but they also make getting ready easy and simple. Plus, they are pretty comfy (the look on the right above is so soft that I feel like I’m wearing pajamas)! I’ve always been a dress girl (as opposed to pants) because I found it simpler to style a look around one key piece. It’s particularly easy to throw on a dress, slide into a pair of shoes and just go! These sets serve that same purpose for me, and I love that I can style a look around them.

As a self-professed color-lover, I was a little hesitant to go for these neutral-toned sets. Surprisingly, I loved them so much, I even took the monochromatic look to the next level with a similarly toned Chloé crossbody. It’s a look I never expected to love, but as soon as I put all the pieces together, I knew it was an instant win!

I’ve worn each of these looks to a variety of events including fashion shows, backstage at Good Morning America, to work and even to class. Each time I wear either set, I’ve gotten a surprising amount of compliments. The juiciest secret that I’m most proud to share…they are SO well priced and both come from J.ING. As much as I love the sets together, I also think that separating the pieces and styling them back to more colorful pieces in my closet is a great way to stretch them even further. For example, I recently styled the tan knit pants with a white lace long-sleeved blouse and cognac leather ankle boots. Next week, I’m planning to wear the charcoal pleated skirt with a burgundy sweater.
