Seeing Spots

I picked up these spotted shorts from J.Crew Factory several months ago, and although I love them, I’ve hardly worn them this summer. I wore them once during my trip to Antigua in April, but that was basically it! Before the warm weather fades, I wanted to make sure I got my money’s worth from them. I love that the material is light, while still maintaining some structure, and that the black and cream colors are essentially neutrals, so they can be worn with almost anything.

Although these shorts are older and not available anymore, I’ve linked to a similar pair from Nordstrom below that I actually think I like better (and they’re 40% off). I was always slightly resistant to the leopard print trend, but I’m completely into it right now. This (second row, third one from the left) is currently my phone background, if that tells you anything. Despite my new found love for leopard, I still really appreciate the subtly of the feline print on the shorts below.
