Primary Colors

Skirt: Painted Threads // Blouse: J.Crew (similar here) // Tote:  Ann Taylor (sold out, similar here) // Tights: J.Crew // Necklace: J.Crew (old, similar style here and here) // Pumps: Marc Fisher // Watch: Kate Spade // Lips: Nars in Heat Wave

As much as I love pinks and pastels, I’m just as equally attracted to bright, solid primary colors. On a dreary, overcast day, I love being able to contrast the gray skies with this cobalt blue blue A-line skirt. There is something very refreshing about a deep primary blue, and I love pairing it with a bright red tote and bright red lips. Of course, black and white are great compliments to a primary color palette.

Before I start going overboard with pinks for Valentine’s Day and pastels for spring (which is so very soon!), I wanted to make use of these blues and reds that provide that perfect pop of color!

Happy Monday everyone!
