Patterns are my favorite – like these feminine florals – or this bolder print. The dress I’m wearing, from Club Monaco, caught my eye from afar. Every time I walk past Club Monaco, I usually try to tell myself to just keep on walking. Recently, however, I was so drawn to this dark cherry color in this vaguely floral pattern, yet somehow reminiscent of out of focus glittered lights. The burgundy color is a great way to transition out of the darker hues of winter, into some brighter shades for spring!

Speaking of transitions, we need to update our outerwear! Boston has had some warm days lately (despite some extremely cold days as well…we’re all trying not to let it get to us…), but soon it will be time to break out the trench coats for the season! The one I’m wearing is my trusty trench I’ve had for years and will throw over almost any outfit, but I’ve found some very similar (single breasted) options here and here.
