As an avid Apple user since high school, it was a no brainer that when my 6-year-old MacBook was finally on the fritz, that I would pop on over to the Apple store for a new one. Likely a (MUCH) lighter version such as the Air, since I’m constantly lugging it around. As I proceeded to research all of my options, I came to think that maybe a Microsoft Surface would best fit my needs. It truly is a powerful computer (I opted for the i5 processor), but it has all the portability and usability of a tablet. It’s definitely taking some time to get used to with the new look and feel of Windows 8, so I’m still deciding if this was 100% the right decision. So far, so good! I’d love to know how other Surface users feel!
