Let’s Flamingle!

Flamingos are hot this summer. I’ve been a fan for a while, especially when I purchased these flamingo floaties that double as floating coasters.

I love that flamingos are social animals. They stay together in large flocks of 100 birds or more for safety reasons. Because of both their beauty and social behavior, these birds are perfect for emulating in our decor. I’ve been eyeing those Martha Stewart sheets for a while (now on sale!), so it may be time to finally go for them! The giant flamingo pool float is so popular this summer that not only is it extremely hard to find online, but when you do find it, the price has been inflated significantly due to the high demand.

I’ve been planning out my gallery wall with my roommates since we moved into our apartment last fall (we’re definitely taking our time with it…), but these two prints from Design Darling were a must! Pineapples are an old symbol of welcome, and the flamingo is just too cute. Pictures of the gallery wall when it’s up will be coming soon!
