Last-Minute Mother’s Day Gift Ideas (including a DIY option!)

Mother’s Day is THIS weekend. Do you have your gift yet? If you tend to wait until the last minute (like I do), don’t worry! Here are a few last-minute Mother’s Day gift ideas that any mama is sure to love!

Planning a gift for Mother’s Day is always a bit tricky since most moms often say they don’t need anything! When searching for the perfect Mother’s Day gift this year, I kept falling into the idea of flowers. Of course, flowers are a classic gift, but I wanted something more.

Eternity Roses

Try these preserved roses that can last a year or more! These beautiful blooms are fragrant and aesthetic, and any mom is sure to love to display these all year long! They come in a variety of sizes and arrangement shapes, so you can choose what mom will love best. And if you order by the end of the day on May 6th, you’ll still get delivery in time for Mother’s Day!

Amazon Finds

Quick and easy gifts that you can buy from Amazon are staples in my book. I’m forever grateful for 2-day Prime shipping. For a clean-freak mom, try a UV phone sanitizer. No one likes a germy phone, especially not in this climate! Another option is a trendy or quirky sweatshirt mom might not typically buy for herself. I’m obsessed with this one by the brand Mother. Yummy candles always make a great gift as well. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a fresh-smelling candle? This lemon lavender option is perfect for spring! Throw in a candle warmer for her as well to bypass any smoke while still warming up the candle

Gift Cards

Another staple is a gift card. Mom’s don’t always splurge on themselves, so a gift card can encourage her to go out and get what she really wants. My favorites are Amazon, MasterCard, or Starbucks gift cards. I also love the idea of a Lululemon gift card for the yogi or active lady!

Pamper Her

For something a little more thoughtful, I love the idea of booking mom a mani-pedi, or massage appointment. Sometimes actually booking the appointment for her is the best way to get her to indulge and treat herself. She deserves it! You could even make it a date and go with her for a little extra quality time.

DIY Jewelry

Finally, with just a few days until Mother’s Day, DIYing Mother’s Day gifts is a convenient (and creative!) option. DIY jewelry, especially beaded camp bracelets, has been trending all over social media for a few weeks so why not take a stab at it? Head over to your local Michael’s for some letter beads, gold beads, and elastic jelly cord. You can create positive mantras or put names of children and/or pets to really customize them! Here’s an article on how to make the perfect beaded bracelet. I love this idea because it can be as personal as you would like. It’s so simple, convenient, and won’t break the bank!
