An easy Sunday morning wandering the local neighborhoods is the best. Spending some time admiring the quaintest little streets nearby was a blast, especially since I spend most of my time during the week downtown for work or meeting up with friends. Today seemed like the perfect opportunity to try out my new felt panama hat. I have never really been much into hats…at all. For some reason; however, they seem to be creeping into my wardrobe more and more, like this woven fedora I wore in Bermuda. Today’s hat was perfect for a cooler summer day, and I know the felt texture will make for a great transitional piece into the fall.
This morning we made our way over to the new juice and salad bar called Cold Press, with all the greens and salads and fruit smoothie options you can think of. I got the “date night” smoothie with berries and mint, and I opted to add chia seeds for a protein packed breakfast. I would definitely recommend it for a refreshing and nutritional frozen treat.
This tweed Loft skirt is another great summer-to-fall transitional piece. With the light color scheme and the cool weather appropriate tweed, I know I’ll be wearing this plenty with my favorite sunnies over the next several months when the summer days start to cool off.

Anyone else a fan of hats lately?
Beautiful photos, especially the model.
