Fall in New England is absolutely stunning – I’m sure I don’t need to sell any of you on that fact. I love exploring the beautiful state of Massachusetts this time of year. How beautiful are these glowing red leaves?

Although my boyfriend and I live three hours apart, it gives us a great opportunity to explore all over Massachusetts. Driving across the state every other week means is calming for me, and I actually truly enjoy taking in all the scenery along the highway.
One pro about this fall: it was unseasonably warm! Although temperatures have started to drop more recently, this autumn has been amazing. In these photos, I was just wearing this cozy sweater with no need for a heavy coat.
One con: it gets dark so early! I’m the first to admit that golden hour is my favorite time of day. The only problem is that it comes so early it’s easy to miss it! We took these photos on our way to an early dinner, and the lighting turned out perfectly! However, just 30 minutes later, and it was completely dark!

Ugh! The sun has been setting around here before 4:30! Too early!
I love the braid! And golden hour is such a great time to photograph. When my fiancé and I were long distance, we enjoyed traveling to see each other because that meant we could see new places (we went to school in Vermont and Maine)!

Oh, that is so interesting! I completely agree – getting to experience different places is one of the perks!
