There’s nothing quite like the hustle and bustle of New York City. I know it’s not really fair to compare, but Boston does just seem so teeny tiny in comparison. I knew from a young age that I wanted to move to Boston because I loved that fast pace of everything all around me – it just seemed like there was so much potential in terms of opportunities to be found, people to meet and things to learn. Since heading to college in Boston, I’ve become so comfortable here, and now that feeling of excitement and what could be is how I feel everytime I’m in NYC.

I love light, soft colors and feminine, floral patterns. Something about this printed dress  with its black background drew me in. It just seemed to be that perfect touch of femininity without being too much. It is loose and flowy and looks good with or without a belt, but to give it some more shape, I threw on this skinny patent option!

Also, these booties, despite their moderate heel, were surprisingly comfortable. I spent one whole day in them hiking around the city (and walking the high line) without getting sore feet or blisters at all. Every Sole Society shoe I’ve bought has been really affordable and great quality and comfort for the price.

Of course, I also had to add a soft pop of one of my favorite colors – mint green!

Anyone else feel love the hustle and bustle of the city, too?

Love the floral look, so refreshing and warm. Now if it would just bring Spring to my part of the world. 🙂
