Vests keep my core so warm and are the best layer for staying inside on an extra frigid day or for venturing outside during one of these sunny and warm days we have been having lately. I’m not sure if it is the nature of sitting at a desk for a large chunk of the day, but I always find myself getting quite chilly during the work day. I’ve found vests to be the best solution! I love my Patagonia vests, but I’ve found this (faux) shearling vest to be so heavy and so cozy that I’ve been wearing it around the apartment to stay warm throughout the day. I love the feeling of being wrapped up in a big cozy blanket. The lining is the softest (faux) fur and the collar is a more rugged (faux) fur. I wished I had this for our NYC trip!

New England has finally been getting snow! Those storms that this area is known so well for have been holding out on us this year – until now! Since Friday, we have started to get our yearly dose of a beautiful winter wonderland. I just love how everything sparkles after a fresh snowfall, and this has been one of the prettiest of the year. I’m enjoying it for now, because I know that once March rolls around, I will be crawling out of my skin eager for spring!
