Leaf Peeping

Fall in New England is truly a force to be reckoned with. I love escaping to the Berkshires this time of year to see the pretty colors that nature has produced. Despite the fact that I’ve lived in New England my whole life, each year, I am still astonished by nature and grateful to live in such a beautiful part of the world. From the Boston area, it’s just a short drive east to so many amazing beaches along the coast ofCape Cod and in the opposite direction to the west, we have the breathtaking Berkshires. I love that I can hop in the car and in about 2 hours (either East or West), I can be exploring a whole new part of Massachusetts.

Mountain Views

Something about the mountains just amazes me. We are so lucky to live so close to the Berkshires. I love hiking (or driving) to a vantage point like the one pictured above for a pretty view. Just look at those colors!

A Sunny Oasis

We went on a mini hike in a woodsier area, since the weather was so beautiful and it wasn’t too cold! When we stumbled across this sunny clearing, I couldn’t believe how gorgeous the lighting was. We knew it was the perfect spot for a quick photo op. I wore a cozy flannel with my my favorite faux shearling vest for warmth. Since the temps were fairly mild, I skipped the tights and wore ruffled knee high socks with my boots instead. Scroll down for all the specifics.
