Classic Navy Blazer
To elevate an otherwise simple look, a blazer no doubts adds an essence of sophistication. J.Crew, being one of my favorite tried and true shops, especially for simple classic pieces, always carries the timeless Rhodes blazer. A classic navy blazer can elevate almost any look, but it is especially perfect for pairing with neutral sweaters and other simple staples that often make their way into our wardrobes in the winter time.
Refreshing Winter Style
In the wintertime, I find it is oh-so-easy to just bundle up in thick cozy sweaters, throw on a pair of leggings and hide inside a big puffer jacket. That is all fun and games for a while. I mean, who doesn’t love to be cozy and bundled when the temperature reading is lower than my age? But, quite honestly, that cozy feeling can turn into a frumpy feeling all too fast. I’ve found that layering pieces under a blazer is a great way to refresh your winter style. I’m wearing a turtleneck in this look for extra protection from the elements, but for even more layering, you might wear a button down (flannel?) under a sweater or vest before topping it with a classic navy blazer.
