Shopping and packing for trips, particularly for vacation, are some of my favorite activities. I love gearing up for a fun trip and choosing my outfits for the days I will be traveling. It almost takes the pressure off just knowing I have my outfits pre-planned.
When I stumbled across this dress from Shopbop months before my trip I knew I needed it. Okay…that may be a little dramatic, but I just had to have it for my upcoming vacation. One thing about traveling to a tropical destination is that, due to the heat, pretty much anything goes. This means this I can be more adventurous with my fashion choices, and pick something I normally wouldn’t wear at home (except for maybe in July & August)!
My pink tassel necklace was another must-have for vacation and the summer. I love how the layered piece is dainty, yet the bright pink tassels do make a statement. This clutch and this ring from a recent Stella & Dot party are quickly becoming some of my go-to accessories for the season.

Spending time in a warm, humid climate was a much needed-refuge from the still chilly temperatures of Boston. Aside from the havoc the humidity tends to wreak on any hairstyling I might try, I actually love the humid weather. It really makes my dry, winter skin feel fantastic. The air was particularly humid while we were in Antigua due to the recent rainstorms on the island. Unfortunately, this meant, all the bugs came out. Not pictured here are the bug bites completely covered my knees. Let me just say…it was/is not pretty. A small price to pay for such an amazing week…
