Dental Care is Beauty Care

Are you considering your dental care products as a part of your beauty regimen? In today’s world, beauty experts and everyday consumers alike are hyper vigilant of the ingredient lists in their products. This awareness and avoidance of certain ingredients in personal care products has become quite a movement. As consumers, we have become savvier and we have demanded ingredient conscious options from the brands we already love and trust.

I’m self-professed product-obsessed. When it comes to beauty, skincare and makeup, I’m all about making swaps for products that are formulated without unnecessary ingredients. I’ve already made changes across my beauty regimens spanning from my mascara, foundation, sunscreen and most of my skincare. It should only make sense that I focus on making these changes to my dental care routine as well! As a consumer, it can be overwhelming to sift through all the information out there and confidently make decisions about which products to switch to.

I’ve been a long-time Colgate® user; even from childhood, Colgate® was always the brand my mom bought for us. I’m thrilled to see they’ve proactively put a new product on the market that fits into my lifestyle. Colgate® Zero Toothpaste provides the protection you need without the ingredients you might not want. Colgate® Zero Toothpaste strengthens enamel and provides clinically proven cavity protection without any artificial flavors, preservatives, sweeteners, and colors. I picked up Colgate® Zero Peppermint and Spearmint Toothpastes in Target and Colgate® gifted me their Fresh Breath Mouthwash to go with it, I was excited to expand my new personal care regimen!

In the past, I’ve always waited until the last possible second to replace my toothpaste, running to the nearest store to grab whatever was available. But since I’m a frequent Target shopper (UM, hi, who isn’t?!), I love that I can pick up Colgate® Zero Toothpaste during a regular shopping trip. Want to see if Colgate® Zero Toothpaste is at your nearby Target? Download the Target app and search by location! Or click here to shop now at your local Target.

What’s more, Colgate® has also come out with a mouthwash (alcohol-free, of course) and a charcoal bamboo toothbrush, with a handle made from 100% natural bamboo, that they’ve gifted me to try with my new toothpaste. Doesn’t it feel good when you buy products with these kinds of benefits?

Fresh air, fresh breath… There’s nothing quite like fresh mountain air. Well, except maybe peppermint-y fresh breath. I’m notorious for bringing a full-size tube of toothpaste everywhere. Travel size? No thanks (runs out too quickly)! I’ve been toting this crisp peppermint flavor around with me on all my trips lately. I love how the bright, fresh mint reminds of me that pure, snowy mountain air I’ve been used to.
