Staying Cozy Warm in Cashmere

Brrr… it’s getting really chilly out there! Although I find the crisp air refreshing, I know it’s only going to get colder before we know it. To stay warm, I’ve always been a fan of layers and sweaters, especially cashmere. There is something so luxurious about cashmere. The soft, plush nature of the fabric just makes me want to cuddle up inside by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa. For now, though, I’ll take all the days I can that don’t require my winter parka.

This gorgeous orchid colored cashmere cardigan from Ellie Kai is so cozy and soft, but the color adds the perfect pop of brightness. With all the muted tones of fall, I definitely find it absolutely necessary to add some brightness.

Classic Black with a Pop of Orchid

Normally, I don’t find myself wearing a whole lot of black. For some reason; however, I’ve been wearing more and more of the dark shade lately. I think it must have something to do with the change in season and the need to layer up. In order to do so without feeling like my outfit is too dark, I love that I can add this vibrant and cozy cashmere! A little bit of (or a lot of) pink always makes me happy (I’m sure you could come to that conclusion on your own based on the design of this website), but I find that a bright orchid is just what I need this time of year. Oh, and the lipstick to match!
