Summer is right around the corner which only means one thing. It’s time for a summer wardrobe update! Sandals are a staple in my opinion and can be both practical and cute. They’re so easy to just slip on and head out the door in the warm weather. Here are 5 summer sandals I can’t go without!
1. Teva Universal Flatforms:
Platforms of any kind, boots, sneakers, etc… have been trending so far in 2021. Staying on this trend, I’ve found these Teva sandals are perfect to give you a little bit of height while maintaining a classic look. These sandals are perfect for a trip to the beach or even a stroll around town. Coming in basic colors like white and black, these sandals are so easy to style with any summer look!
2. Birkenstock Arizona Essentials:
Sporting a more athletic look, these Birkenstock slides are perfect for getting wet. They’re made from EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate), which is a high-quality, very light, elastic cushiony material. Since these are so comfy, they’re great for everyday wear! I opted for classic black, but these come in so many bright colors that just scream summer! (I think I’m eyeing the purple fog next!) Birkenstocks are always on-trend, and I like to style these with denim or athleisure look, but they can also be cute dressed up a little big (see how I styled them for dinner here).
3. Soludos Wildflowers Espadrille Mules:
These Soludo’s Wildflowers Espadrille Mules are a staple for any outfit. They can be dressed up or down and are great to slip on as you are walking out the door. The espadrille style sole gives them a whimsical summer flair – perfect for adding a summery touch to any look. I like to style these with a pair of white jeans and a cropped tank or a flowy blouse, but they are also a great option to accompany a summer dress. It’s always nice to have a close-toed option!
4. Steve Madden Bandis:
These sandals are a classic. For an elevated look, these Steve Madden sandals are on trend just in time for summer! These would look great with any skirt or dress but give an overall laid-back look with the woven and cork combo. I love the black and tan look to pair with any neutral outfit for a night out with friends or a casual lunch.
5. Jeffrey Campbell Costelo-L Slide Sandal:
I always love a dressy flat sandal for my summer wardrobe. The Jeffrey Campbell Costelo-L slide sandal is perfect for those days you need to look a little more polished but aren’t really interested in any added lift. The wooden square-toe coupled with the woven leather strap make these shoes a 2021 summer must! Not to mention, the leather-lined padded footbed will keep you comfy all day and all evening.
