This Memorial Day weekend might be cold and rainy (at least in Massachusetts), but I’m not letting that stop me from celebrating the unofficial start of summer. Instead of soaking up the sun, I’ll be cuddled up inside preparing for those warmer days ahead. It almost feels more appropriate, since Memorial Day is a bit of a somber holiday as we honor all of the fallen men and women who have served our country. ❤️
If you’ve been eyeing a new pair of slides, looking to stock up on sunscreen or rosé (the two summer essentials, of course), Memorial Day sales provide a great opportunity to shop! You know when you’ve got your eye on something, but you’re “waiting for a sale,” well, now’s the time! Here are the sales I’m shopping for this weekend:
M.Gemi
Take an extra 10% off sale through 6/1 with code MDW10.
These faux shearling slides are currently in my cart. I love a comfy slide you can wear all day long. I’m eyeing the pink, the grey, and the black, but there are lots of colors and sizes still available. Also, the Alpi boot is my go-to all winter long, and it has sold out multiple times. This boot hardly ever goes on sale, so if you were thinking about it at all this winter, now is a great time to invest! Lastly, my M.Gemi Sacca Donna loafers are such a staple for me. See how I styled them 5 ways here. Snag a pair while they’re on sale!
Dermstore
Up to 20% off skincare and beauty through 6/1 with code SALEAWAY.
So many of my current skincare favorites (highlighted in this post) are on sale this weekend! Everything from Dermalogica is included in the sale (woohoo!). I especially love the Invisible Physical Defense sunscreen because it’s a zinc oxide-based mineral sunscreen. Check out this post to see why that’s so important. I’ve loved the Daily Microfoliant for ages, as well as the Blackhead Clearing Fizz Mask (it tickles as it works!). Recently, I started using the PowerBright Dark Spot serum for dark spots/sun damage around my eyes. I haven’t used it long enough to report results, but if you are interested in trying it – a 20% off offer is a great time to try! My retinol serum from SkinMedica is also included in the sale and can be pricey, so this is a great time to snag it. Lastly, my all-time favorite clean mascara from Ilia is included too!
Winc
Get 4 bottles of wine for $24.95 + free shipping through 5/31. Discount applied at checkout.
I’ve been a big fan of Winc for a few years now because I love that it’s a delivery service, so I don’t ever have to go to the liquor store. The best part about it is that you can take a quiz on your preferences, and Winc will make (spot-on) recommendations for what you will like best. Read this post about my experience with (i.e., gushing about) Winc. And, 4 bottles for $24.95 + free shipping is SUCH a steal. In terms of Memorial Day sales, this is a GOOD one to get your bar cart ready for summer!
Cotz Sunscreen
Take 20% off your entire order through 5/31 with code DONTFRY.
This is hands-down the best sunscreen. It’s a mineral sunscreen, but it’s not thick or sticky. Instead, it’s actually really lightweight and creamy. I actually just stocked up for the summer. The Face Prime & Protect SPF 40 Tinted is always my go-to because it’s the best under makeup. I also got the Flawless Complexion SPF 50 Tinted for a slightly higher SPF. For body, I love Sensitive SPF 40 Non-Tinted, and I also grabbed the Sport SPF 45 Non-Tinted for a longer-lasting and more water-resistant option. Since I like to be pretty active in the summer, I’m so excited to have this sport version.
Goli Nutrition
Enjoy 30% off all purchases for a limited time with code MEMORIAL30.
I’ve talked about these apple cider vinegar gummies before, and I love them! The benefits of apple cider vinegar are fairly well known to manage metabolism and overall health, but it can be SO hard to get down. I’ve tried mixing it in hot water with honey, I’ve tried taking a shot of it, and I’ve tried making a salad dressing with it (definitely the best option). The ACV Goli gummies are delicious and don’t taste like vinegar at all. If you’re considering trying them, 30% off is a great opportunity to do so! Goli also recently came out with an Ashwaganda gummy too. I’ve been taking Ashwaganda (although I haven’t tried these gummies yet) for a little while, and I feel like it helped balance my body overall. This is just my personal experience, but I also believe it helped bring my thyroid levels back into the normal range (I have NO proof of this – just my own anecdotal experience). If you’ve wanted to start incorporating Ashwaganda into your supplement routine, the Ashwa Goli gummies would be a good product to start with!
I hope this round-up of the Memorial Day sales I’m most interested in is helpful!
